Mikael Hansson / Chief Operations Officer
Originally from Sweden, Mikael co-founded Yourlink2asia in 2006 and a year later moved the company’s headquarters to Hong Kong.
With university studies in diverse subjects such as economics, marketing, design, production and law, Mikael represents the company in its legal and business matters. His interest and experience in product and packaging design has also made him a sought-after design and development consultant with a large product development portfolio. Mikael also spearheads the company’s legal consulting, specialising in intellectual property protection.
A native Swedish speaker, and fluent in English, speaks intermediate French and German and has foundational knowledge of Cantonese.
Johannes Landstrom / Chief Sales Officer
Since co-founding Yourlink2asia in his native Sweden in 2006, Johannes moved to Guangzhou, China in 2007 where he set up the company’s Mainland China sourcing office.
In 2010 Johannes transfered to Hong Kong where he focuses on developing customer relationships. Previously a student of economics and product design, Johannes has coupled his education with his experience of living and working in China to create strong and clear lines of communication between our international customers and the Chinese factories that manufacture our products.
Johannes is fluent in Swedish and English an intermediate speaker of German and French and has foundational knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
Alex Trup / Chief Creative Officer
Alex joined the company in 2007, and since 2009 has been in charge of the company’s operations in Taiwan.
A student of economics, marketing and East Asian languages, Alex has lived and worked in several cities around Greater China, including Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong. Alex leads Yourlink2asia’s marketing efforts, while also liaising with clients in his native United Kingdom. Alex’s years of marketing and design experience also makes him a valuable part of Yourlink2asia’s design team, where he focuses on strategic product and brand development.
Alex is a native English speaker and speaks intermediate level Mandarin and Polish as well as basic Cantonese.
